The human brain develops its full capacity up to the age of 10, depending on requirements. At the same time, a child's thirst for knowledge, which is so helpful, is inexhaustible. Apparently on its own, it learns languages, reading, writing and basic mathematical skills at an early age without teaching in the conventional sense. Only those who think and act holistically are able to solve complex problems.
Our daycare center uses the findings of brain research and tries to enable the children to learn in a sustainable and lasting way by involving all their senses. Children only develop comprehensively through their own actions, testing, comparing, playing and experimenting.
Children are driven by their curiosity, have a great urge to explore and discover, and a strong will to imitate the big ones, which is why the joy and fun of learning and playing is our top priority. With this privilege, independence, self-esteem and self-confidence can easily be strengthened and promoted in everyday life - that is why we act and work according to the situational approach! We pay special attention to the early introduction to cultural techniques and the English language.
Eating meals together in a quiet atmosphere has a special significance in our facility. We offer the children health-conscious, balanced and varied all-day meals from our own kitchen. In addition, we have set ourselves the goal of awakening in the children the joy of healthy eating and to apply the knowledge they have acquired themselves.
Daycare children are still at the beginning of their language development. For us, language education that is integrated into everyday life means that we pay attention to child-friendly language teaching in everyday interaction. Playfully introducing our children to the English language is part of our everyday life.
We pay special attention to the acquisition of social skills and the teaching of values and norms, which give the children security and support in everyday life. We support the children in acting in a self-determined and appropriate manner without losing sight of the community and their role in it. The early introduction to cultural techniques such as reading, writing and first basic mathematical skills characterize our daily pedagogical work and are anchored in the Saxon educational plan.
Communication and media skills allow our children to become real explorers and discoverers, with creativity and imagination, in a society that they themselves help to shape. We provide our children with learning situations that are varied and arouse curiosity, taking into account the individuality of each child and focusing on existing abilities.
We currently have one educator working in our daycare center who has completed the advanced training to become a parent companion. Through this qualification, we want to further improve and intensify our work with parents. We want to be a qualified partner for our parents! Our parent guides are happy to advise you on questions about parenting. They can also help you with problems and crises. They can also be asked for advice in case of problems with authorities
Our toddler group always takes place on the third Wednesday of the month and is aimed at parents with children from 6 months. Here they can get to know the kindergarten and exchange ideas with each other. All children and parents from Meerane and the surrounding area are invited, whether they visit our facility in the future or not. Our toddler group is led by one of our nursery teachers, who are available as contact persons.
In all of our facilities, there is an individual familiarization and getting-to-know-your-child offer. Regardless of whether it is a toddler, a kindergarten child or an after-school child: we offer an entry or transition phase geared to the child in order to create a positive atmosphere right from the start and to make it easier for the children to get to know each other.
